Now I’m imaging dealing with the Mighty Intercom at 8am on a Monday morning with a broken coffee machine and no soda to tide me over

I already don’t like this person for mouthing off to the MIGHTY INTERCOM.

Should not liking a cartoon someone disqualify them from working in a cartoon office?

        Til says:

No, but not knowing The Konami Code when applying at a (cartoon) game company was not a good point for them either.

        • mvandinter says:

Well put, Til! A game developer not knowing The K Code would be like a chef without a sense of taste… which I’m quite sure is a real thing.

Or a deaf composer. Though we have Beethoven who could still write masterpieces, so who knows how our applicant performs…
(Yet, I find their lack of respect for the MIGHTY INTERCOM disturbing.)

Inversely, I already like them more.

But then I’ve never liked The ‘Mighty’ Intercom. Which puts him in good company with the management (I do like two of three of the nincompop managers, they seem like decent folk who are just struggling with things outside their compitency).

    Yes. Yes it is.

I finally figured out why I can’t post sometimes… your comment section hates VPNs.

    • mvandinter says:

      Hey evileeyore,

Do you get an error message?

The only thing I can think of related to a VPN is that it won’t recognize “evileyore” as you because part of the ID is your IP address.

Passwords for comments would fix the IP thing, but requiring passwords also drastically cuts down on the number of visitor comments.

  5. evileeyore says:

Yeah, I get this error message:
    Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

“it won’t recognize “evileyore” as you because part of the ID is your IP address.”

That’s probably it. Probably first joined here without the VPN running, which is no big deal, I’ll just need to remember to turn it off when I want to commentate, and then turn it (and the torrent client) back on when I’m done commentationing.
