My son bought one of those when they first come out, cost him nearly $1000. Me? I use a 32″ 1080p wide screen TV for my monitor, only cost $125 (on sale).
I dropped one of those wide-screen monitors once (at work). It was on a cart full of equipment and the front wheel went over something that had fallen on the floor. The monitor hopped right off the cart. Then: “BAM!!! CRACK!!!” It spilt in half down the seam.
Oh, usually I think about that stuff.
