It’s not that people love AI slop, it’s that companies love not paying for art more than they hate the AI slop.
Unfortunately that genie is out of the bottle, and I doubt our politicians will ever take steps to undo it. At least not until it’s their livelihood on the line… an even then I’m sure that more than enough will take the bribes on their way out the door to destroy even that last “bastion” of “human jobs”.
