“Did Princess just admit to a penchant for animal cruelty?”
The cat knows what it did…
I don’t think Princess understands what “buying her dinner” entails for the older fashioned/power-mad male mindset. Male attorneys generally come in three flavours; stodgy old traditionalists, Type A Personalities*, and granola eating hippies.
The traditionalists while expect Princess for desert, the Type As might not even make it through dinner before moving on to Princess as “the main course”, and hippies … well.. they’re hippies. So she probably doesn’t mean them since I doubt they’d sue a cat. Sue Princess on behalf of the cat sure, but only once the high wears off a bit, cause “wow, right now man, there’s like four of your cats and I’m not sure which one of you is my client, oh man, did I mix edibles with peyote again?”
Sorry for not commenting in awhile.
Anyway, I was wondering when they’d actually confront this guy about the doll. Based on his apathetic stance to the people in the cubicle I’m guessing that he just got it to mess with her, and if Rex is right about the first time someone has successfully pushed her buttons, then she’s suddenly getting them pushed alot. First Baron, then Rex when he joined in, then Motormouth, and then Rex with his commentary again, and let’s not forget Mei, she’s suddenly finding lots of reasons to be pissed off isn’t she?
NO! Lawyerlady needed firing, we do not wish her to come back. Gotta admit though, both the doll and the dude are creepy as hell.
Poor Lawyer Lady. Loved by none.
Except Baron and Wolverine.
Did Princess just admit to a penchant for animal cruelty?
Third/last panel: The plural to attorney is attorneys, not attornies.
Also, the main page comments link underneath this strip pointed at the previous page’s. That a manual update or something?

How do you know all this, evileeyore?
I’m an ardent student of humanity.
One day I’ll figure out what makes people tick and how to stop all that ticking… 😉
FIXED thanks to tanstaafl! 🙂
Yes, the second comments link requires a manual update… Which is fixed now! Thanks!
I suspect this is going to go amusingly.
