Sure, accusations can be a problem, but in her case, they were in fact, engaged in sexual discrimination. They believe that, because she’s a girl, she can’t be a game programmer, so they have her posting innocuous cat videos to social media to no purpose.

I’m not an SJW, but when the shoe fits… Bringing in that overzealous lawyer just made things that much worse. Dudes, just let her do the job.

I’ve never taken them setting her up as the “Social Media” person was sexist. I think her hiring was sexist, she was ticking off a box labeled “Female employee” that laws and mindsets require be ticked off, but I don’t think they hired her because they needed another artist, or even another employee at all. Thus (in my theory) she was given the first job any of the incompetent managers could think to give her as a make-work job.

The managers aren’t sexist… they’re just incompetent and have painted themselves into a corner they have no understanding of or idea of how to get out of. And the terrible lawyers have only made it worse.

Myk Streja, I’m with you in spirit, but if the company fixes its dysfunction, this comic strip won’t have any reason to exist.

    Has Rex ever helped?

Well, you see, that’s the problem. She’s not a programmer. She should be checking resumes for female artists. Just as soon as they give her some art to do. >.>

Asking a newbie artist, in her first job, to screen programmers for hiring?

You might risk doing less damage to the company if you ended up hiring the corporate terrorist

Why do I feel this ends with Baron’s car ending up go through a car crusher?
