To be fair, I think this company could use some gender therapy of some sort…

Once again, Dee Dee’s concerns go unrecognised.

Then again, that might be something that needs to be addressed.

Are you guys advocating that everything in the comic should be sane and reasonable, that workplace concerns be addressed and resolved, that the employees should all be respectful and helpful?

  3. How many of you use fandom references in your everyday life? For myself, the gender-role-reversal of Princess reminds me of when I was riding an electric city bus. I told the driver that, “I love riding these new buses because they remind me of Star Trek’s The Next Generation’s Jean-Luc Picard’s Galaxy Class version of the Enterprise. The bus driver replied by saying, “These buses even sound like them too.” That’s the conversation that happens when two fans that share the same fandom talk to each other.

I wonder if our Princess is a member of a fandom.

    • Mathew Van Dinter says:

I don’t know about that, James.
I do know she is contemptuous of the interests of her fellow employees.

      • As the followers of anything publicly popular create a fandom, I think Princess would be a fashion fan. I think that Princess would, without telling anyone at her office, attend the yearly “MAGIC- Business of Fashion” convention held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. That convention draws 200,000+ attendees being entertained by 500+ brand exhibitors, would be a draw to anyone interested in fashion, including our office Princess.
