1) This strip is related to the previous strip only in that it established that this is the “Art Team”.
2) The Author tends over-emphasize a specific character’s lack of a sense of humor, rather than emphasizing that others have one. This is probably due to The Author’s own sense of humor, which many people in real life fail to recognize as humorous 🙁
I love how the art team seems to be a tight-knit bunch, even though they fit together like small dogs and asteroids… Dee Dee fits right on with their non-fit-in-ness.
I wonder if it’s Art that ties them together, or the fact that they are the mis-fit-iest of a company of misfits?
I made this strip prior to COVID-19… Back when “immunization” wasn’t a political term.
It’s O.K. It’s still funny. A classic line, as it were.
I’ sorry, is this the meeting from yesterday? Was that about something else? Does it matter? How much of a sense of humor does Vanny have?
🙂

I meant, if Vanny goes ordering people their food, there may be an opportunity for a little play.

I’d thought they were some of the sanest employees there.
Give it time: I’ll try to get everyone a chance to be sane and insane in equal measure… except the Game Testers, of course. They’re doomed.
So.
Very.
Doomed.
Sanity can actually be a detriment to fitting in.
It may actually be the antithesis of fitting in.
